After installing optibay, how to move OS onto SSD

So once i Install optibay SSD, How would I go about moving everything over from my standard HDD to the newly installed SSD?

I've also heard that it would be better to move the standard HDD to the Optibay slot, and fit the SSD to the standard slot as it would be faster. If I did that, would it boot on okay?
