How I rate the iPod Touch 5
I have 4 "tablets." I rate them as follows in terms of usability fun etc:
Ipad3 Nexus 7 IT5 Ipad mini I love the iPod touch5 and always carry it with me. the nexus 7 -- also great -- is in 2nd place usually for a commute. The iPads stay home. |

If the "it5" means iPod touch 5, that's not a tablet.

The iPod touch 5 isn't a tablet, more of a media player.

My opinion is the opposite, or nearly.
iPod Touch 5 iPad Nexus 7 iPad mini I use my iPod constantly. I use my Nexus seven sparingly. I bought it to use primarily as a web browser, but I've found that I still have to browse mobile versions of sites, or it all becomes too uncomfortably tiny. Mobile chrome is also as bare bones as you can get. I use dolphin on the nexus and it has been a huge improvement over chrome, but it has more issues with JavaScript. I rate the mini below the nexus because of price only. The Nexus 7 is a loss leader. Because of that you get a pretty good bit of kit for your money, the battery life however is a big let down, being only a marginal improvement over the iPod. |
