weird bug with bandcamp's embedded player

I encountered a really weird bug with bandcamp's embedded player.
The code is really simple, like youtube's embedded videos.

Code:
<iframe width="400" height="100" style="position: relative; display: block; width: 400px; height: 100px;" src="http://bandcamp.com/EmbeddedPlayer/v=2/album=629454868/size=venti/bgcol=ffffff/linkcol=4285BB/" allowtransparency="true" frameborder="0"><a href="http://pastandfuture.bandcamp.com/album/pastandfuture">pastandfuture by pastandfuture</a></iframe>
The problem is that it doesn't show up at all in recent versions of Firefox(19.0.2) and Opera(12.14) at all.

I thought it has something to do with the transparency, so I removed that, but no. The problem is still the same.

The player only works fine in Chrome, in Safari 5.1.7 there's an ugly greyish border, but basically it works as well.

This is, what it looks like in Opera 12.14 and Firefox 19.0.2

This is, what it's supposed to look like and looks like in Chrome:

I have no idea what causes this, nor how it could be fixed for FF and Opera

Just checked it with my FF 19.0.2 and Opera 12.14 and the player looks and operates fine on my Mac.

Maybe you tested at work behind a firewall or in a private LAN, or maybe you have some blocker software enabled or plugins that are interfering. Something local to your computer. Your code seems fine based on some help I found in the link below, feel free to check out it, maybe we both missed something, but seems OK to me:

for some reason it still doesn't work for me. But it's good to know that it does work for other people.

I did some googling and disabled adblocker, which didn't help. It's working in Safari 5.1 and Chrome though, but still no dice i FF and Opera.

Weird thing in FF is that it pops up real quick, when the page loads, but then disappears and no content is loaded. Doesn't show up at all in Opera still.

I'll do some more googling and hopefully I'll get behind this.

Turn off all plugins in FF and restart it and try again. Otherwise download again and re-install, sometimes plugins cause things like this, which is why I use Chrome as my primary browser now. As to Opera, I'd not worry too much about it, it's used by less than 2% of the populace since 2012 and steadily losing users based on http://gs.statcounter.com/.

See attached screenshot.

I uninstalled Firefox and redownloaded it again without plugins, still the same problem. I contacted the bandcamp support and gave them some screenshots. Will see what they say. I use Chrome as my main browser as well.

Is there a grey border on the right side in Safari, partially cutting of the iframe?

This is what I get running Safari 5.1.7 on os 10.6.8

Thanks for your help and input, I hope that bandcamp support can point me in the right direction. I know, I'm not the only one having trouble with this, but all those 'fixes' haven't helped so far, so I'm counting on bandcamp support.

Just so ya know, Flash is no longer dominant and not supported on many platforms especially some main stream mobile devices. With HTML5 being almost universally supported now media is being streamed progressively using the native object tag set. The folks at bandcamp should use the new method and have Flash only as a fallback PLUS add in code to inform the user to install the Flash plugin if not detected. I'm just sayin'.

FYI, glad you finally got it going on your end!

that is very true, the weird thing was that Firefox detected a missing plugin, but didn't let me know what plug in to install. I was hoping that it not only be a solution for desktop, but also for mobile users, but with Flash being a necessity, that's a big no then.
