Chrome

I am now getting a box in the upper right-hand corner, listing 5 items. One of them was ChartBeat and google analytics among others. If I click inside the box it goes away. And it comes up on every page, ANNOYING!

Is there a way to stop this?

I've got Safari and Firefox as well, so it would be no problem removing it.......
Got it Chrome?

What extensions are you using for Chrome?

Try disabling all of them, quit Chrome, re-open and see if the issue persists.

With Ghostery you have options to tweak it. I set it to 1-second before dissapear instead of 5, and to the bottom-right corner (in the up corner you mostly find it on top of login/account menu's)
