Microsoft Silverlight Compatible with OS X

Greetings Everyone,

Long time reader/first time er.... "poster" (or am I a threader

) I am wondering if anyone else is having problems downloading MS Silverlight. I'm trying to watch Netflix's House of Cards and I'm going in circles.

Netflix prompts me to download Silverlight. So I do. Once I've downloaded it, I go to Netflix, click on my show and WHAM! Black and Gold screen of death!!!!

It prompts me to download Silverlight again! I've been at this for two days now. I've even contacted Netflix about this matter and they suggested I download Firefox (that's another issue....)

I saw in another thread someone wanting to download MS Silverlight for another version. Thought I'd try it but I can't find that version either.

Any help would be great. I thank each of you in advance for your help.

It is compatible. Microsoft released a new version today, give it a try: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/26623/silverlight
