Wifi keeps coming to a stop.
I've recently switched to a new ISP (Rogers, in souther Ontario), and my iMac's internet connection keeps going bunk. AirPort shows full reception, but data flow just...stops (downloads halt, webpages stop loading or don't load, Dropbox/Google Drive disconnects, torrents halt, etc.)
I can remedy this by switching AirPort off and then on again, but that's a hassle if I'm dealing with lengthy/large downloads/uploads. And I know this to be a problem specific to my iMac, because my iPhone 4s and ancient Windows XP laptop do not share this issue. My iMac is on OSX 10.7.5, if that matters. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

I would hazard a guess it's your router.
