Error burning DVD's

hi, everytime i try burning dvds in toast.

i get this error (screenshot)

i have tried different blank dvdd, from different companies. and nothing works

The real question is why would U not use iDVD?
I find it works fine and have no interest in third party products.

May not be available to them. Toast should work. I use it with no problems. iDVD works as well.

iDVD is not on the more recent Macs.

Try burning your media at the lowest available speed. 1x if its available. (though usually 2.4x is the lowest burn speed available)


p.s. And leave your computer very steady (e.g. if its a laptop don't move it around). And don't use it for anything else while burning, just to make sure all system resources (i/o's) are available for the burn.
