noisy fusion drive

I've been noticing that the hdd read/write head portion of my fusion drive on my Mac mini (late 2012) chattering like crazy, almost never stopping.

I know that there's a lot of swapping between the ssd and hdd portions of the fusion drive, but has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks

And yes, it's an OEM fusion drive, beating the living daylights out of its read/write head; I'd rather not trust my data to this situation I'm having with my HDD.

When hard drives make lots of noise, its not a good sign. Back up as soon as you can and call apple to get it replaced.

My Fusion drive is silent. Take it back to get a replacement.
