I had a friend of mine tell me there was a special version of Windows 7 you could get that would let you install windows to a flash drive and use it as an OS for running and booting. NOT INSTALLING.

I want to call BS, because of all of the Google searches that are only about making a Windows 7 installer drive.

But I have read some posts on this forum that have explained it's next to impossible...

I would have to agree.

I just want to call what a JOKE

I like to use all three OSes at my leisure, but this is a major JOKE.

SORRY.

I guess the only OS it's possible with is Windows 8?

Laters...

I mean when you think to yourself "It's gotta be possible", then you google and nothing...

WOW

I'm a rolling stone.
There's only one company that makes it easy to boot/multiboot and that is Apple.
You want to start from a flash disk, CAN.
You want to start from a external HD/SSD, CAN.

And all nicely done, hold Option key at startup and there are all the bootable options, try that with any other OS/Brand.
