iPod Touch 4G cracked screen: replacement quality concerns
Hello guys
![]() I have an iPod Touch 4G which needs a new screen & digitiser (they're cracked), and fitting it is a breeze for me, but I just want to ask if anyone (UK) has a recommendation as to which kits to *avoid*, since I only want to do this once. You can buy a full kit + tools + 3M adhesive for £18, but will the replacement match the quality of Apple's own? I'm sure they're all made by FoxConn etc anyhow ![]() Thank you, I really appreciate the help

From my perspective it sure looks hard! Anyways, your welcome. Did you get it repaired?

Tools dont matter as long as they work, 3M adhesive is great. As for the screens I buy from etechparts and wholesalegadgetparts. It is basically impossible to get a genuine apple one since those have to be pulled out of an iPod. But you are right most are made in foxconn and many are just as high quality.
