Adobe flash player problem
Adobe flash player seems to have a problem in my mbp, all the latest months.
Several versions passed from my machine, they had the same problem: heavy cpu load. I have to 'kill' process, in order to help my cpu. I tried to full unistall it and install it again. Nothing changed. I wish that I could live without it, but I have to see several sites in their full layout, so I need flash because the use flash. ![]() Anybody here with similar problem? How should I handle it? |

I've tried several times to install flash player on my 2012 cMBP with latest mountain lion to no avail. I just switch to Chrome when I need to use flash player to see a page properly.

I have mbp early 2011, with 10.8.3.
What else should I say? |

You and millions of others. However, those millions do not have your problem. What is it about your setup that is unique? You might begin by giving the version of Flash installed on your system. You did install Flash, didn't you?

Adobe Flash has crashed
I am unable to access a Flash features of this page with either a new iMac 27" running 10.8.2 or a MBP running 10.8.3:
http://www.euroncap.com/results/skoda/octavia/512.aspx then click on the Photos|Films link A windows opens and after a long minute it displays "Adobe Flash has crashed" I looked at the advice at: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/...-video-firefox I have tried the following and each time the Media window reported that Flash had crashed: a) updated Realplayer.app (but never use it) b) downgraded to Flash 10.3 (reluctant to leave it like this due to security holes in Flash) c) installed the latest Adobe Flash 11.6.602.180 d) disabled all Firefox plug-ins except Shockwave Flash (10.6.602.180) I have the latest Firefox for Mac: 19.0.2. The crash also happens with the latest Safari. So it has me stumped! The creators of the web page say they have tried it with a Mac and it works without problems. So it would seem to be something deep in the settings/installed software of each machine. |

I installed this addon
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...on/flashblock/ to firefox. It displays a generic image instead of loading flash in web pages. But, if it really works, why flash process loads on my system? Are there any firefox addons alternatives for blocking flash? |
