£100 cheaper, problem is that the big Dell 24" is now £600...

Im happy with mine, but of course i would have preferred an Apple - shame there so expensive.

The 20-inch display is too much. It's should $599. Oh, but I know why they won't price it that low...because then it and the Mac mini would undercut the iMac...

Does it worth switching two 19" for one 23"? I just thought that the price of apple's 23" is becoming much more affordable now.

23" inch still can't touch the price of the superior Dell 2305FPW, pitty. Most sales put it below $800, which is ironically the price of the Apple 20" LCD.

Happy to see the 30" Cinema display go down in price... I wonder how many years it will be before you can pick one up for less than $1000.

The price of the 20" is way too high - $999 is too much and there are better and cheaper displays around.

Your paying for the Good Looks.

I am surprised we didn't see more of a drop (and a few months ago). Only a few hundred more on the 23" and they finally would have been in $ competition with the Dell 24" that's been the subject of so many threads here. I am also a little disappointed to not see the panels moved to ones that provide a better black performance. Ah well, the Sony G400 CRT continues to chug along.

Great news about the price drops. I just hope they can keep coming down and into my price range. I guess my Xerox monitor will have to do for now.

I just bought a Dell 2405FPW (1920 x 1200, I believe) along with a Dell Dimension 9100, 2.8 GHz. DVD-ROM. 16x Dual Layer DVD+/-RW, 2 GB DDR2 RAM, 250 GB HDD, 100w Dolby 5.1 Stereo Surround Speakers, etc. for about $150 more than the Apple 23" Cinema. Lucky me!!

The 30 inch now costs what my 22 inch Cinema Display cost me a few years ago. Cool.

Need to get one I think.
