Next ATV/iOS generation to support HEVC/h.265?

Just found out that 2013 Samsung high end TVs and the Galaxy S4 will support HEVC: http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/articl...n_video_codec/

Is this a good indicator that vendors including Apple will rush to get HEVC into their next gen ARM chips (such as the A7)?

I hope so. Their encodes could use a huge quality boost.

i hope so too, and i'm looking forward to 60 fps streaming especially in sports.
NHL (no a big fan lol) this year started to stream 60 fps and it look fantastic, apple tv cant handle it (stuttering) on xbox it's like cable/satellite
