Who can explain why they bought the iPhone 5?

When I run into people who have the iPhone four and the four ass, they always ask me what's the difference? And I never quite know how to respond. So I just came here because I think a lot of you guys have the new iPhone but

If you could just name one advantage over the iPhone 4/S, what would it be? What is the main difference from the other phones?

You've obviously never used one, I assume? Yes, you can tell the difference in screen size.

I just got mine 2days ago. The reasons I went for a 4s to a 5: spacing of keys in horizontal orientation, LTE, because I could.

Main reason? LTE

loved the iPhone 4. Knew I would like the faster speeds of LTE. No brainer for me.

Well, usually I just end up telling them I bought it because I like to have the latest, just in case.

So.

Screen size.
Speed.
Spacing of keys.
LTE.
Because I could.
Wanted to be cool.
Wanted to have the latest.

Other phones have these beat in all of these categories.

LTE, pure and simple. Apple can keep the screen, I hate the bigger screen. Best be if they go back to 3.5"

OP - there is no justifying an iPhone 5. Especially say ... Over a 4S. It just comes down to if you have the means ($$$) and want to have the latest and best Apple device, you get it. For now the world is still free and somewhat democratic and we can choose what we want. The best answer for me is "because I like to have the latest technology". There doesn't seem to be any response necessary to that.

Why I bought the iPhone 5? My previous phone was a dumb phone so it's quite an upgrade. I was using the dumb phone and iPod touch combo before. University student here.

As for why I picked the 5 and not 4S for my first smartphone? I decided to go for the latest and greatest. I'm in Canada and we're stuck on three year contracts so I can picture myself with the 5 until 2016 maybe (unless I pay for an upgrade). I love the design of the 5 much more than the 4S. It looks awesome! Oh and screen size as well as LTE too.
