Samsung Galaxy S4 pre-orders appear to be going from strength-to-strength with smartphone retailer Carphone Warehouse revealing the handset has quadrupled advanced sales records set by the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Formally unveiled at a dedicated New York launch event last Thursday, March 14, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has already marked itself out as the next must-have Android handset, eclipsing the early pre-orders marks recorded by its predecessor.
According to latest figures released by the retailer, Carphone Warehouse has seen pre-order figures jump 446 per cent in the three days following the Samsung Galaxy S4 unveiling, suggesting the handset could well become the most successful Android smartphone to date.
The Galaxy S3 launch broke records last year and was always going to be a tough one to beat, but the S4 is already proving to be a more than capable step up in the series that will inspire many people to make the switch to Android from other operating systems, Graham Stapleton, COO of Carphone Warehouse said.
