I am a developer/builder who needs mobile access to real estate listings, Home Depot, etc from job sites on a bigger screen than my iPhone 5.

The major application I'll be using is Safari.

Of course I may look at documents, approve pdf's, and edit an Excel spreadsheet here or there. But primarily it's to be connected to the web.

If you are a mobile user 3G, 4G, LTE what model/plan/carrier do you use and what's good or bad?

This will only be used on the road not for any real computer work.I have a Macbook Pro for that.

Thoughts, criticisms, opinions are all welcomed.

Thanks,

Can you tether from your iPhone5

If you can use your iPhone to set up a hotspot I'd be tempted to either take your macbook pro on the road and use that, or get an 11" air, (refurb if you want to keep the price down), for on the road use. That would save you the cost of a second wireless contract and would probably pay for an air in a year?
