How to pull only specifi files from a Time Machine backup?

My MacBook Pro recently got a malware problem from a software my little brother installed (Nielsen NetSight) and ever since then, my MacBook has been very sluggish and been having problems with every plugin interfering with that Nielsen software. So I decided to make a backup like usual and wipe my heard drive to reinstall Mountain Lion. The reinstall is almost done but I'm wondering if there is anyway to pull specific files (music, documents and photos) to my computer and start fresh instead of me entire user and settings back? Please help! Thanks!

Yep... easy.

Open Finder then launch Time Machine from /Applications and navigate to the folder you want to restore. Then right click and pick Restore folder-name to... and select that. You will get a pop up asking where you want to restore to.
