I have a dropbox folder with RTF files that I want to be able to view and edit on my iPad.

I haven't worked much with the RTF format before, so I had assumed that if I synced to iPad and open the documents in an app that operated with the RTF format, the formatting of the document would be retained. However, I just did a couple of tests and editing on my iPad totally jumbled the formatting of the original document.

Is it possible to sync, view and edit RTF files between mac and iPad and retain 100% formatting? If yes, which app does that?

DevonThink on mac. Have only tried Textilus so far on iPad but that's the one that messed up the formatting - but these RTF files are all based on DT templates so I'm wondering whether that has some bearing on how the formatting changes?
