I've downloaded an iPad app with in-app purchases on my iPad. I want to make the in-app purchase for the iPad on my MAC, because the iPad does not verify my account on the new iPad device, even though I gave it the correct credentials. :(

Is it possible for me to instead make the in-app purchase on my MAC and then transfer it to the iPad by syncing?

dont think that is possible. in-app mean the app is running and controlling the process. An iPad app can not run on a Mac.
I woudl first try to find out why you iPad cant be authorized.

Well, when I'm purchasing it on the iPad. It says this is a new device. And I must authorize it. It asks me to confirm my credentials, including my credit card number three-digit code. But it says incorrect even thought I know for sure it is correct. And the rest of the credentials too.
