Had a brain wave last night about the perfect way to arrange my monitors.

Makes for some cool desktop patterns, and minimizing something to the dock is a lot more fun from the top screen to see it zoom down past the second screen. 😀

looks cool, but do you have different resolutions on the monitors? in that second pic it just looks like the top monitor is at a higher rez than the laptop

Yeah, the PowerBook is 1280 px wide, the monitor is 1344 px wide.

Take it one step, and $10000 further...

four 30" stack on top of one another!

*drool*

Someone give me $40k for a sweet PM, and another $10k for monitors and videocards, and I will research this on behalf of the whole community..

RESEARCH... that's the ticket....

I set up twin 23" Apple Cinemas for a customer, in a similar configuration, above their "his & hers" 15" AlBooks side by side on a large desk, in front of a picture window overlooking the sea.

Sweet.

Sorry, no pictures.

Fun with the iTunes visualizer!😛

W-O-W. That is alot of money. And a beautiful display. I wonder who would pay $109,950 (that's educational pricing) for a DISPLAY. That's rediculous!
don't forget the PMs (prolly 15-20 or more) to power all those pixels.

In the article, it actually says 25 PMs also. *drools anyway at a display and drivers that cost as much as a very high end car*

SEVERAL high-end cars.

Heck, I'd take the Metro everywhere if I could have one of those!

..or it could BUILD me a car! WOAH!

the sad thing is-- I'd only use it for MR, email, and Adium. Hehehe.

/I'd like to see an "insufficient bandwidth" message with that!
//Oh yea... that has nothing to do with it
///still bitter about having "insufficient bandwidth" for an iChat video thingiee. 🙁

Talk about ichat video conferences on that...think 50 other people conferencing, each with 30" of headroom...😱

I have my monitors setup like that but I'm not cool enough to figure out how to stretch a desktop over both of them. 😎

Ever heard of a projector? 🙄

I just called Best Buy, RadioShack, Ultimate Electronics, and would you believe it none of them have a 204.8 Megapixel projector capable of throwing an image 25600x8000. 😉
