I have been having a few problems with the bluetooth range with my 2012 MM and the magic mouse. Basically the pointer gets sketchy at only a few feet. I have a few magic mice and have similar problems on all of them after testing. Apparently the USB3.0 in the Mac Mini 2012 is causing issues. After googling around I came across a possible fix from OWC. It is fairly cheap, but I was wondering if anyone has installed the fix, and if so if it works?

See: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/DIYIMM12BTS/

As noted in the video, my MM has the original apple shielding on the module, which was not present in my 'USB2.0' versions of the Mac Mini, so I am guessing Apple is aware of this potential issue and has placed its version of the shielding on for the 2012 model.

Or alternately, if anyone has any other ideas?

Thanks.

EDIT: Sorry... I noticed someone else posted similarly to me at almost the exact same time.
