macOS Authenticate My Application to Raw read hard disk on Tiger??

Hi all
I am able to raw read the hard disk on Mac OS 10X but on Mac OS Tiger I am not able to raw read the hard disk it gives an error "Permissions denied".

How I can authenticate my application to raw read the hard disk on Mac OS Tiger.

Please give me some sample code so that i can authenticate my application to raw read.

That looks nice, but iirc naveen's previous questions have been Carbon based so the C API above is probably better for him.

When I looked at the authentication.framework stuff it was fine as far as it went. Seemed a bit weak and lacking in features. You'd probably end up using the C API anyway.

Yeah, Naveen. Any chance of you checking the documentation before asking? Or perhaps actually thanking people that do take the time to answer you?
