Does anyone know to to disable the DataDetectors in Mail?

defaults write com.apple.mail DisableDataDetectors YES

Does not work anymore.
Any OSX wizard/guru that can help me disable this annoying "feature"?
I've asked/searched but no one seems to know how.
This is such a deal breaker for me that i am considering switching the mail client just because of this, but i would really like to be able to disable this and continue using it.

Please help :D
