I've installed an SSD with my mid2012 Macbook Pro, and did some tweaks like Trim Enabler, I cannot remember exactly what I did (as I followed some guide), now when I close the lid, and reopen after certain amount of time, it is like re-activate the SSD that I can hear the sound as if at the beginning of booting, so I guess some change made the sleep become hibernate after certain amount of time, if I close the lid and reopen immediately, I cannot hear the sound. What setting should I do to fix this?

Thanks

You can disable hibernate via the terminal command:

sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0

You can also use an app like smartsleep

There may be other ways.

I have a mid 2012 cMBP with an HDD. Is there a way to make it hibernate instead of sleeping like windows? (I'm new to Mac)
