I am currently converting my dvd's to play in iTunes. I can convert 4:3 content on a mac using handbrake, but when it comes to 16:9 content there is a problem.

My video recorder doesn't recognise that it's 16:9 content so my solution is to copy the DVD to a PCM card drive and use infoedit to change the settings to 16:9. I would like o junk my pc and do this on the mac. I would like o just like o be able to copy the files to the hard disk on the mac and use some software to change the aspect ratio in the DVD files, but the mac just won't let me see the files on the DVD.

Does anyone have a solution other than installing windows?
