mathmagic vs. mathtype

hey,

i need an equation editor. both for viewing and writing equations.
i use mellel as my word processor, so it has to be supported (enabling viewing of equations on mellel properly; editing inside mellel).

i do know about the pricing difference ($89 for math type; $69 (or $49 for student licence), but i wondering what are the differences in their capabilities & usability with mellel.
