Hi,

My new rMBP 2013 model had slightly yellow tint. I've tried to calibrate manually with more or less sucess. Then I've noticed that I'd disabled the auto-brightness function right away.

So I turned it back on see if it helps.
It helped. Yellow tint is gone and my external LG monitor which seemed bluer to rMBP in the beginning now seem yellowish in comparison.

Looks like color management is somewhat connected to this function and corrects white point according to ambient light.

I really hope it will fix your problem.

Note. My entire screen was warm colored not partially yellow.
I have Samsung screen.
