macOS Reseting the Dock icons to a set layout

I have been racking my brains to create a Apple Script or program that will allow me to reset the location and the apps in the dock, each morning after people mess with it each day.
 
Could you not overright the Dock preferences plist file then kill the Dock process (it starts up again on it's own)?
 
thats a thought, just never thought of it that way, just have to write the apple script for it!!
