WD Mybook Studio Edition II Support on Airport Extreme

Hi I was just wondering why my Disk wont backup over wifi I think apple disabled support with time machine but I think it should backup it just comes up with a message that says calculating size that lasts forever! (Trust me I learnt that the hard way of leaving it on) Any ideas is there a patch or a glitch?

Edit: Also when I plugged it in with a USB wire it says in TM it can't find the drive when it in on my desktop!!!

Make sure it's formatted as Apple Extended format, not FAT32 or other format.

It is Mac OSX Extended (Journaled)
