Smart Cover and AppleCare

One of the corners have split, and the material that is looped around the magnet rod has stretched. The iPad does not sit upright, right

What luck have you you guys and gals returning a poly Smart Cover under AppleCare?

As long as you bought it within a year, you should have no problem getting it replaced.

I went into an apple store and got mine replaced on the spot. Without a receipt or original packaging. And this was just because I noticed the magnet of the Smart Cover had started to scuff my ipad.
