I plugged my Iphone 4s into some speakers and now it wont turn on. I feel there was either a power surge or the resistor was broken and therefor has put too much power through the phone and has maybe melted some components. I was just wondering what the best way to fix this problem is. Its not on a contract, I bought it off a friend so I dont think i can go back to Apple.

Take the iPhone to Apple, they'll offer you an OoW replacement for your iPhone at about 1/2 the retail cost of a new one.
