Hi,

Since this is the place to be to ask these kind of questions, here it comes.

During replacing the fan I broke the fan connector of from the Logic Board. After reading on fora I decided to solder the fan wires directly to the pads on the logic. See picture:

Now I thing the fourth wire should be soldered on the missing pad as you can see on the picture. Now the fan runs at full speed.

My question: where to solder the fourth wire on, to make good use of the SMC (measuring temp which regulates the fan speed).

Any help is much appreciated.
