So i went to my finder and all the toolbar icons are not visible. I switched them over to text only and that works but not icons. I try to customize my toolbar and all the icons are still blank.

I have the same problem... did anyone some idea?! Please help us! :eek:
 
Menu functionality is controlled by the System User Interface. To reset, delete the plist file called com.apple.systemuiserver.plist

(Then restart the computer.)
 
Simple Cure

There's an even simpler cure that I found. Restart your Mac is Safe Mode (hold down the Shift key while rebooting). It should come up showing all the missing icons. The Restart again in Normal mode. The missing icons should be back.
