Messages app not showing contacts name, but phone numbers instead.

Hello,

Messages app on my Mac isn't showing my contact names, but the phone numbers instead.

The problem is because of number prefixes like country and area codes. On my Mac, Messages app requires it to be exactly the same as on my Contacts app, while on my iPhone, Messages app ignores any number prefixes and associates it correctly.

I can't simply put the prefixes on all my contacts, because that way it wont complete the calls carriers here requires you to NOT include them in order to complete local calls.

Is there any known workaround? It's really annoying receiving all those iMessages with no contact names associated to it.
