I have a macbook running Mac OS X SW but have an issue that started after I visited a website. I entered the wrong address but couldn't log out of it so I force quit.

Once I restarted my macbook, I find it shows a black square around any field I enter info in. Also, the audio is now weird. I can now hear every letter I type, for example, it will repeat all of the letters I'm currently typing, or it will repeat all the info regarding what site I'm on. Does any one have any idea why or more importantly, how I can repair this.

TIA

You've turned on some of the features for the disabled. Go to the "Accessibility" preference pane in System Preferences and turn off Voice Over.

A quick google for "os x black squares" will provide more detailed information.
