Hello guys,
I recently buy AirPort Extreme as my router. Everything is great on it except problem with external shared hard drive. I buy Western Digital 500GB disk and I need to acces it on Windows. I installed AirPort Utility and my disk is showing there. But I can´t see it in My Computer window so
I can´t use it.

It is problem with NTFS?
I don´t have any Mac computer so I can´t use Finder to see the disk or format it on Mac file system.

What should I do?

Is there any chance to do it with fellas Airport Extreme - Western Digital disk - Windows ?

Thank you very much for any help.

thank you, I was hoping that NTFS is not a problem. Now I must live with that stupid 4GB limitation.

It works now.. but not as I expected :D

If you have a Mac, or take the drive to one, format the drive as HFS+ (Mac Extended Format). 4GB+ files are no problem, and your Windows computer will be able to read/write files as long as it's plugged into the Airport (it would not recognize it if plugged into the computer directly though)
