I didn't watch the video, but I did resize my Safari window. The response was instantaneous. So if yours isn't, that's not normal.

The first thing I'd try is deleting the Safari plist file.

The second thing (if that fails to fix the problem) I'd do is try Safari in a different user account.

Or maybe, if you're not in the habit of shutting down, do a Restart first.

Good! After trying which suggestion? Providing that information might help someone else who searches the forums for answers to the same problem.

Deleting the Safari Plist file... that was the thing that helped
