Her first brush with fame was appearing on the TV game show "The $64,000 Question" in the late 50's. Her topic was "Boxing"!
The show was later involved the the quiz show scandals of the late 50's - early 60's, started by the revelation the the Charles Van Doren was given the answers on the show "Twenty-One"
She then parlayed her fame from the show into a career of psych advice on TV. Although she brought the field of psychology into the public eye, she was a bit of an embarrassment to many of us.
