Have downloaded a 30day trial of Adobe photoshop elements onto my macbook pro, 11 but i-photo will not import it saying it is in an unrecognised format. I'm looking for some sort of photo enhancement programme. If Adobe isn't going to work has anyone a recommendation?

Is this the first time you've ever installed a program?

Photoshop elements has nothing to do with iPhoto. It's a separate program.

Yes, I think it may be the 1st time. It sits somewhere in Finder and I have to search for it every time, then it will not open until I specify a place for it. Seemed i-photo was the most logical but still doesn't want to know. Thanks for your interest.

Still no luck. Does anyone know of a decent photo editing set up that will work with a macbook pro?
