I am thinking of selling an iPhone 4 on eBay and was thinking of unlocking it. It is past the two year contract commitment so I should be able to get the unlock code from AT&T. The only thing is, I have no way totest that it is really unlocked because I will not have a different SIM card to test it. How can I be sure that when I sell it, it is actually unlocked?

How do you know your phone has been unlocked?

I believe when you unlock it and its restored through iTunes, it will prompt you saying "congradulations, your iPhone is unlocked"
