Website Feedback...

Hi guys,

I have a University presentation tomorrow on how I present myself as a professional and part of the criteria is having to have an online presence. The bare minimum was a Linkedin profile but I have decided to try and use my website.

If I could get some feedback on it good or bad although it will probably mostly be bad as it has all come together a bit rushed!

Not really settled on good category titles yet but I am keen to separate my videos/film photography/digital photography but not quite sure how to yet!

Any help would be much appreciated and I would make it up to you however I can! In fact if you want any critique on some of your photos post one here and I will offer some thoughts if you want.

First off can I ask did it all seem to load at an acceptable pace? I am on a really slow connection here and can't really tell if it's my site or my paranoia!

I have removed "Welcome" as suggested and changed "Film" to "Video". As nice as "Moving Picture" is it may confuse people as a lot of my friends wouldn't click that a video is made up of frames repeating each second.

I think in the future I will need to sit down with someone and have them help me prune as I have obviously got too attached to some shots. The reason there are a couple of similar shots is that at the moment I fear that it is on the low side in terms of number of photos and I was trying to bulk it up a bit.

I am about to break for summer and hopefully have the opportunity to take plenty more shots so I might have to cull some after that.

I think I also get a bit to attached to my film photos because I have taken them and developed them under the stairs and I feel like I want people to know the effort I have gone into. I think I will have to stand back and just realise that they don't really care. A good point you have made and once I have my new bunch of photos together I will look at a more portraits/landscape/people style of categories.

I have culled a few of your suggestions although I have kept hold of a few.

I have a new opening image from your selection and have also added a link to my linked in profile on my contact page (looks out of place but I will probably get extra marks for it).

My video page seems to have gone AWOL to I will have to see to that now!

Thanks for checking it out. Film us a Hasselblad 500CM and most of the digital shots are a Canon 600D with a couple from my new 6D.
