I'd like to get a second monitor to use on my Rev. B iMac G5.

I know about the Screen Spanning Doctor. I just want to know what'll happen if I want to play a game just on my iMac's screen. I've tried playing some games at work on my PowerMac and the second monitor turns itself off. If I use the hack will the second monitor just turn itself off on my iMac? I don't run any multi monitor games.

Secondly, I've heard some horror stories on getting your registration code for Quicktime 7 Pro. If I reintall Mac OS X will I lose that key?

I don't know about the Screen Spanning thing, it could well screw your machine uo, but hey, it's your choice.

With Quicktime Pro, I haven't had any problems. If you do re-install the OS, yes you will lose the key. However, it's very easy to go back to the Apple Store, log in and get your key again.
