Hi

My iPhone 4S has a heating problem after installing a new battery (had to because the battery was dead)
The device works fine but after ten minutes of use the 'iPhone needs to cool down before you can use it' screen appears...
The phone doesn't feel warm at all!
Which part of the hardware do I possibly have to replace to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance

Lorenz

DId you replace the battery with a genuine Apple, or a cheaper copy? The knock offs have been known to cause overheats.

In the description of the online store it says it's genuine. The package of the battery however does not say anything about that...
Can I buy genuine batteries from Apple, if so, where?

Thanks

Any Apple store will sell you one, and for a little more, fit it too....I'm not sure, but you may be able to buy them from the online Apple store too.

Hi

Unfortunately for me there are no Apple stores in Belgium, at least not that I know of and if there are they are too far away. Can't find it in the online store either

Thanks for your help though!
