Nexus 4 Owners using custom kernels

Hello guys, for those of you who are using a custom kernel like franco, does it support USB OTG?

Also, i am aware that if a USB stick or HDD is attached, it will need its own power.

But say if i connected a point and shoot camera that is on using a USB OTG adapter cable directly to a nexus 4 (for the purpose of uploading pics on the go), will it work? Since the camera has power already, i don't need a battery pack/outlet right?
