Selling my macbook air need some help

I'm selling my 2011 macbook air to upgrade. I was wondering how I factory reset the air? DO I have to re-install the OS? Thanks.

Hold Cmd-R when booting. Erase the SSD in disk utility, then go back to the main restore menu and install the OS.
