Hi all,

I burnt a DVDR of photos on my mac and apparently if you put punctuation like a slash in the folder names it sends windows doolally!

I burnt folders containing only jpegs with my Mac and put a slash in the folder names (e.g. "Folders/Activities" was one of them.)

Now my client can't open on PC and it says the folders are empty. How can he solve this and read them on a PC?

Many thanks.

I dont know from which app did you burn, but whatch for disc format: you need PC (joliet), Mac + PC, UDF or ISO9660 standard. Dont burn discs in HFS format for PC use.

Be careful, some older DVD readers cant read UDF.

It's sorted now. Burnt with regular burn folder from desktop but it appears the PC was XP-based. Windows 7 opened it ok.

Yeah, Windows doesn't like that very much. :-\ Sounds like a Windows XP bug.
