Reseating processors on 2003 (?) Powermac G5

So, recently I've been having problems with the fans on my G5 going mad and I keep getting sudden kernel panics, so i reckon that there may be a huge build-up of dust under the heatsinks that keeps causing the processors to overheat. However, i ran ASD and it came out with everything being fine. Still, I have my suspicions and want to reseat the processors. However, I'm not really sure what model I have, as looking up the serial number on Apple's website reveals this page: http://support.apple.com/kb/SP96 This page only lists three models, and my G5 is none of these since it's a 1.8Ghz dual core, when there are only a 1.8Ghz single or a 2Ghz dual on the website.

Does anyone else know what model this may be, as i can't seem to find any tutorial for reseating its processors? Furthermore, does anyone know how to reseat the processors from the picture below?

Umm... Yeah. On the bottom bit with the serial number and stuff it says '1.8Ghz DP', and there are clearly two processors...

Ok, so now I REALLY need to reseat these processors.

This morning I started it up, it said 'Mac OS X has encountered a problem and needs to shut down' (I know thats for Windows but whatever), so I shut it down and unplugged it. I left it for 5 minutes and it just started normally, but when it displayed the error report i noticed that under 'No. of CPUs' it said 1, not 2. Now I'm pretty sure that this thing is a dual core, mainly by the fact that it has two separate heatsinks. There are 3 T15 screws around each, and there is a Philips screw down the side of each that needs a <20cm long screwdriver to get to. I managed to undo all 4, but it still seems to be connected somewhere in the middle and it's just not budging.

I could get the serial number if it's helpful, but I have no idea what is holding these heatsinks in. I desperately need to reseat these processors, because so far its refusing to run both. Any ideas?

Any help at all? Tomorrow morning, this wont start up again, and I don't know what I'll have to go through to get it back to working order again, because it just seems to be getting worse.

There really isn't anything special or hard about re-seating the CPU's in a G5. As long as you've got a screwdriver long enough to reach down to disconnect them, you're good.

Trust me, i have all the necessary screwdrivers, and this isn't working at all. Maybe this will make it more clear:

All the red circles are T15 screws. The blue ones are the Philips screws down the side, and the green ones are the other Philips screws next to those that connect to the processor in some way that seems like they're not connected at all. After disconnecting these, I can tilt the heatsinks towards the RAM, but this also moves the processor underneath, which is still attached.

Does this make it in any way clearer? I have no idea where any other screws may be.
