Password app that works with Android/iOS/Mac OS?

I'd like to get a password manager program that will work on my Android and synch to my Mac. I'd also like if I could use it on my iPad, though more importantly, I'd like an iOS version to be available in case I switch back to iPhone at some point.

Does anyone know of a good program like this with cross platform versions?

Thank you.

1Password has cross platform functionality. I've never used it, but I've seen a lot of praise for it on this site.

I use LastPass on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Linux and Windows

Works perfectly.

To Sync 1Password from a Mac to Android phone one needs Dropbox as an intermediary. I use it, brilliant.

1. Both Last Pass and 1Password seem to be free. Is this correct? Is there a premium version?

2. How do you backup the files for the apps? This maybe my deciding factor. I want to make sure I can easily backup the password database if needed on my phone or Mac.

Thanks!
