Are video cards from 20" 2007 iMacs campatible with 24" 2008 iMacs

did you manage to install the 20 inch imac graphics ti the 24 inch iMac? I have a similar issue with mine and wanted to know if they really are compatible...

The cards themselves are, but the heatsinks are not.

Thanks for the input, Intell... so if I find a heatsink for a 24 inch HD2600, I will be able to install the HD 2600 from a 20 inch model? mine has the 8800GS, I assume the heatsink is not compatible with the ATI..

You need the matching heatsink for the card model and the iMac size.
