I had my iPhone 4 replaced under the 2-year AppleCare Warranty last August (about 9 months ago). Now my replacement iPhone is not functioning properly, my mic doesn't work during phone calls as explained in this video.

I know this is the issue because I did the repair and my mic worked again (for a little while).

I was trying to figure out if I have a valid claim for another replacement because the 2-year AppleCare Plan expired 3 months ago so all of the original warranties on my original phone are expired. But since I received this phone as a replacement less than a year ago am I covered for this manufacturer defect?

If you performed the repair and they can tell you opened up the phone, your warranty is voided.
